Your Trustee

Most people who go bankrupt, in excess of 90%, have the Government as their Trustee. AFSA which stands for Australian Financial Security Authority is the Government bankruptcy office. They are normal working people just earning a living to feed their families. They are nice and will treat you with respect.

A small number of people will end up with a private Trustee. Private trustees are people who are registered to administer the affairs of bankruptcy estates.
